Aerosmith's Steven Tyler slapped with new sexual assault lawsuit

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has been accused of sexual assault by a second woman.

In documents filed at the New York Supreme Court, Jeanne Bellino alleges that the rocker (75) sexually assaulted her in the 1970s, when she was about 17 years old, and he was about 27.

Jeanne, who was an aspiring model at the time says a friend arranged for her to meet the singer, while Aerosmith was in Manhattan.

She alleges that while walking to an after-party at the Warwick Hotel with Steven and his entourage, she made a comment about a song lyric to which he became visibly irritated and assaulted her.

He allegedly forced her into a phone booth, where he “stuck his tongue down her throat, and put his hands upon her body, her breasts, her buttocks, and her genitals, moving and removing clothing and pinning her against the wall of the phone booth”.

He allegedly groped Jeanne and simulated sex with her while others stood by, watching and laughing without intervening.

The incident, she claims, was her first sexual experience.

At the hotel, the star allegedly pinned Jeanne against the wall and forced his tongue down her throat while pressed against her.

The incidents, Jeanne says, left her with “severe and permanent emotional distress, physical manifestations of emotional distress, embarrassment, humiliation, physical, personal and psychological injuries”.

In a separate lawsuit filed against Steven in December last year, the star was accused of sexual battery and assault of a minor by Julia Holcomb Misley who says she was groomed to become the singer’s girlfriend when she was 16.

She alleges that she met him at an Aerosmith concert in Portland, where she lived, and that he took her to his hotel room after the show.

Despite her telling him her age, he allegedly “performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon” her before sending her home in a taxi in the morning.

She claims the rocker flew her to his next concert in Seattle, after which he allegedly performed more sexual acts on her, and flew her back to Portland the following day.

After Steven was granted guardianship over her due to her troublesome home life, he was able to travel across state lines with her without being questioned and according to Julia, “travel with, assault and provide alcohol and drugs” to her.

She says she was powerless in the face of his “power, fame and substantial financial ability,” and she was “coerced and persuaded into believing this was a romantic love affair”.

She also alleges that he forced her to have an abortion.

Steven has denied Julia’s allegations, but admits they had sex, which he says was consensual.

He has yet to respond to Jeanne’s allegations.
