Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The American Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned US citizens to stay at home and if possible avoid traveling to Zimbabwe by any means necessary.
In an update posted on the CDC’s website, Zimbabwe was classified as a high-risk country and travelers were advised to avoid coming to the Southern Africa nation.
The CDC said:
This comes after Zimbabwe recorded over 1300 positive cases and 34 COVID-19 deaths in one day the highest number of COVID-19 positive case to be recorded in a single day since the onset of the pandemic on 20 March 2020.
