Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The body of an unidentified tourist was found floating in the Zambezi River near Victoria Falls on Wednesday morning. Authorities suspect the individual may have fallen from the Zambian side of the waterfall.
While official details are limited, sources say Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife has coordinated with Zimbabwean river and tour operators to assist with the recovery operation.
It is understood that two separate hotels, one in Zimbabwe and another in Zambia, have reported missing guests, though the identity and nationality of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
