Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Nigerian Super Stars Burnaboy and Wizkid yesterday both won awards at the 2021 Grammys awards held in Los Angeles last night, BBC reports.
Burna Boy scooped the Best Global Music Album award while Wizkid won an award for Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album.
According to the publication:
Burna Boy won the hearts of Africans including Zimbabweans as he is known to speak against human rights violations marring the continent anytime there is a movement against such.
