Soccer24 reported that Koni joins other new pre-season arrivals including King Nadolo, Adrian Silla, Godknows Murwira, Innocent Zambezi and Admiral Matope.

The Green Machine has also signed goalkeeper Ashley Rayners, while Tafadzwa Rusike has been training with the club for the past month.

CAPS United have managed to retain the services of striker Willian Manondo who won the Golden Boot in the 2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

The 31-year-old was also voted as the 2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Soccer Star first runner-up after netting 17 goals and providing 12 assists in a struggling CAPS United side.

Manondo was a reported target of South African top-flight club Sekhukune United and Zambian clubs, Zanaco and ZESCO United in December 2022.
