Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. This October 18, fire meets flavour as Delta Beverages’ finest brew Castle Lager lights up the heart of Harare with the most anticipated celebration on the calendar — the Castle Lager National Braai Festival at the Glamis Arena.
According to Irimayi Muzorewa, the Delta Corporation marketing director, this year, Castle Lager celebrates a decade of braai with the nation.
She said the Braai Out movement, which is in the form of a ten-fold national festive in 10 cities and towns in Zimbabwe, commenced on August 23 at KwaMemo in Mt Darwin, Traxtion in Gweru August 30 and Caravan Park in Masvingo on September 6.
The merriment is getting further strengthened and moves on to Monkey Shoulder in Chitungwiza on September 13, Chipiwa Gardens in Marondera (September 14), Speedway Bar in Kadoma (September 20), Jongwe Corner in Harare (September 27), Hartsfield in Bulawayo on October 4 and Madziro Bar in Mutare on October 11.
The Castle Lager National Braai Festival is set for October 18 at the Glamis Arena in Harare, expected to be a grand celebration filled with vibrant local and international entertainment, delicious food and the camaraderie that defines the Castle Lager Braai experience.
“Castle Lager proudly marks a decade of hosting the Castle Lager National Braai Festival, set for October 18, 2025. To commemorate this milestone, Castle Lager has launched an exciting series of 10 Micro Castle Lager Braai events across 10 cities in 10 braai hotspots throughout Zimbabwe, which are running every weekend building up to the big day,” a statement from Delta read.
“This unique celebration gives Castle Lager an opportunity to reach and celebrate with more consumers who come together as friends to enjoy the cherished braai occasion.
“Each micro event will feature electrifying live performances by a diverse lineup of local artists and DJs, creating unforgettable experiences that blend great music, braai, and the unmistakable taste of Castle Lager, our brand which has stood the test of time.”
As part Delta’s giving back to the community, Castle Lager will donate 10 state-of-the-art hospital beds to a public hospital in each city hosting a micro braai event at the end of the campaign.
This initiative underscores Castle Lager’s commitment to supporting the communities that have embraced the brand over the past 130years.
A worthy cause to join the Castle Lager in celebrating a decade of braai feasting and 130 years of brewing excellence.
