At least two people have been confirmed dead after a Bless It Up bus collided with a Heyman Kole truck at the 87km peg along the Harare–Masvingo Road on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the crash and said both drivers died in the accident. Several passengers who were on the bus were injured. The ZRP said:
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on 28 February 2026 at the 87 km peg along the Harare–Masvingo Road.
“A Bless It Up bus, carrying 32 passengers travelling towards Harare, collided with a Heyman Kole truck, which had no passengers and was heading towards Masvingo.
“Both drivers succumbed to injuries. Some of the injured passengers were ferried to Chivhu General Hospital for treatment.
“More information will be released in due course.”
