Dynamos Manager Performs Bizarre Juju Rituals On Goal Line

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Dynamos Football Club manager Richard Chihoro may face disciplinary action after he was filmed performing alleged juju rituals during a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match on Saturday, 19 March, reported NewsDay.

Hwange were hosting DeMbare at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo and during the half-time break, Chihoro went onto the Mpilo end goalpost and sprinkled an unknown substance across the goal line.

The Glamour Boys had failed to score in the first half despite creating numerous scoring opportunities at the Soweto end.

Adding to the intrigue, the Hwange goalkeeper Nedrick Madeya had a big white towel in the goalmouth.

Dynamos players confronted Madeya with the intention of confiscating the cloth but were unsuccessful.

A DeMbare fan eventually managed to grab Madeya’s towel in the second half and set it alight on the perimeter fence.

A video of Chihoro performing the ritual was circulating on social media.

PSL spokesperson Kudzai Bare on Monday said they will not comment on the incident involving Chihoro before they go through the match reports from the match officials. She said:

We cannot comment on the matter because we have not seen the match reports.

Dynamos eventually scored a solitary goal through Tinashe Makanda from a Denver Mukamba assist, to grab maximum points.

During the 2022 season, the PSL fined Chihoro US$2 000 for protesting when retired referee Hardley Ndazi awarded Bulawayo Chiefs a penalty when they played Dynamos.
