Rescuers use pumps to extract water from two disused shafts in a mining town, where at least 23 illegal gold miners are feared dead after heavy rain destroyed a dam wall, causing floods. Families and friends of the miners have gathered in the mining site in Kadoma, 145 km from Harare.
