Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The late Manicaland Provincial Affair Minister Ellen Gwaradzimba has been declared a national hero and she will be buried at the national heroes acre at a date to be announced, ZBC News reports.
The national broadcaster posted the update on the matter and said:
The late Dr Ellen Gwaradzimba has been declared a national heroine. Zanu PF National Chairperson & Defence Minister Cde Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri conveyed the President’s message to the Gwaradzimba family at their highlands home in Harare.
This came after Zanu PF Manicaland Province wrote to the Politburo urging them to declare Gwaradzimba a national hero yesterday. Gwaradzimba succumbed to COVID-19 at a Harare hospital yesterday. the government is yet to announce the date of her burial,
