SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo has his eyes set on what could be his first title as the head coach of SuperSport United, the MTN 8.
The Zimbabwean coach has a tough test awaiting him for that to hapen though, as his side battle Tswane rivals Mamelodi Sundows over two legs for a place in the final and he hopes fortune will be on him.
“Our attitude and my attitude has always been to do well in every game we play. On a personal level, I think I’d want to win something for the club, because I think I’ve got a good group of players, a bunch of good professionals. I think they also deserve to win something and this cup gives us an opportunity to do that,” Tembo said as stated by Kick Off Magazine.
“We’ve been into the final [for the previous two years]. We won it the one year and we lost it in the other and again we another opportunity to try win it. It starts with the game against Sundowns and I think it’s really important for us to focus on that game. We need to put out a performance that will give us an opportunity to get into the final.” he added.
The first leg is at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and kicks off at 15:00hrs.
