Nine-year-old Kaleisha Chiyaka, the current Mini Miss Global Zimbabwe, will represent Zimbabwe at the fourth Kids and Teens Global Pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April.
She will compete against young contestants from many countries for the title currently held by Lin Yang Yang of Cambodia.
The pageant gives children and teenagers a chance to showcase their talents, culture and leadership skills in different age groups, from toddlers to teens.
It also helps participants build confidence, improve public speaking skills and develop stage presence, while encouraging them to share their traditions, languages and heritage.
Events at the pageant include talent shows, fashion displays, interviews and cultural presentations.
