Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Linda Masarira who leads the Labour, Economists and African Democrats party (LEAD) Monday won the 3rd vice presidency of the Convergence PanAfricaine, a movement which aims, through the mobilization of resources and skills, to complete the process of decolonization of African States.
Masarira, a former spokesperson of the opposition MDC-T, then led by Thokozani Khupe made the announcement on social media this Tuesday. She said:
Yesterday at the General Assembly of COPAN I was nominated to the Presidium & won the 3rd Vice Presidency. I look forward to a new era for Africa which badly needs a change of paradigms for its future emancipation.
