Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema has told BBC’s news and current affairs journalist and presenter Stephen Sackur that his party supports Russia’s invasion of Ukraine because Russia supported South Africa during apartheid.
During the interview, Malema also reiterated that the EFF will win the 2023 elections and dislodge the ruling ANC from power, without the help of the “racist DA.” He said:
We are with Russia. We are encouraging our government to work with the Russians… Russia was there for us when it was not fashionable to do so.
