Ministers Are Publishing Cabinet Minutes To Colonial Masters – Chinamasa

The ruling party Zanu PF has made sensational claims that some cabinet ministers are publishing cabinet minutes to foreign governments they have long described as hostile, The Standard reports.

This was revealed by Patrick Chinamasa who refused to name the cabinet ministers he was talking about when he was addressing journalists when he accused people opposing their ideas of working for former colonialists:

It is very clear that some people are receiving advice from their colonial masters. They oppose everything. They disregard the Official Secrets Act and now publish cabinet minutes to their colonial masters.

If you want to investigate this issue, journalists you can get it. Right now the British Parliament discusses our Cabinet minutes in their Parliament. We know that they work with the British.

A while ago, exiled politician Jonathan Moyo who is always privy to the political developments happening in Zimbabwe once threatened to publish cabinet minutes to prove his point. Moyo was saying President Mnangagwa was behind the introduction of the Zimbabwe dollar and cabinet never approved its return when he threatened to release the minutes.

This comes amid reports that there is a rift between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Vice President Chiwenga and there are people in cabinet reportedly working on both camps trying to sabotage the other camp.
