Mliswa Ejected From Parliament, To Be Investigated

Africa-PressZimbabwe. Norton Member of Parliament, Mr Temba Mliswa was this Wednesday ejected from Parliament for disorderly conduct after heckling Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi.

Deputy Speaker Tsitsi Gezi said she will make a ruling on Thursday on whether his conduct did not constitute contempt of Parliament for allegedly abusing other Members of Parliament.

This was after Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi proposed that Mliswa be investigated for disorderly conduct in the chamber.

Mliswa was ejected from Parliament after he had heckled at Minister Ziyambi, who is also Leader of Government Business in the House, hurling insults at him as he was on the floor to respond to a question from a backbencher.

Recently, Mliswa recorded audio in which he accused Ziyambi of approaching Domboshava prophets in an endeavour to have him and his sister Mary killed.

Mliswa claims Ziyambi wants him dead for pushing for the latter’s resignation as Justice Minister over his attack on the Judiciary that nullified the extension of Chief Justice Luke Malaba’s tenure of office.
