Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The family of the late fitness trainer, Michelle Moana Amuli, has said the deceased will be buried on Friday (tomorrow).
There was confusion as to when she would be buried after her paternal and maternal parents were disagreeing over how to bury their daughter.
Moana’s father Mr Ishmael Amuli wanted her to be buried in a Muslim way since he himself was a Muslim while her mother was against the idea saying the deceased had a sower relationship with her father, therefore, Mr Amuli should have nothing to do with her funeral.
The family spokesperson told NewZimbabwe that both families had settled their differences. Speaking at Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare a family member in the company of Moana’s father, the spokesperson said:
We talked as both families and agreed.
We will bury Michelle tomorrow (Friday) but we are not yet sure where her remains will be buried since as we haven’t completed the burial process.
Moana died in a fatal car accident along with businessman, Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure, Limumba Karim and Alichia Adams last week Sunday on their way from celebrating her 26th birthday.
Ginimbi’s Rolls Royce Wraith they were in was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda Fit before veering off the road, hitting a tree and catching fire.
Witnesses who first arrived at the scene said they retrieved Ginimbi, who was still alive, from the vehicle which exploded a few minutes later burning the three passengers beyond recognition.
DNA tests which were to be conducted to establish who was who also delayed the burial of the fitness bunny.
