MDC-T secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora has assured MDC Alliance MPs that they should not be afraid of being recalled unless they have committed offences against the party.
Mwonzora was speaking on Friday soon after High Court judge Justice Tawanda Chitapi ruled that the MDC Alliance, an umbrella of seven political parties which contested the 2018 general elections under as a collective, was not a juristic person capable of suing or being sued. Mwonzora said:
It is not our intention to victimise anyone, it’s not our intention to recall people just like.
