Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. HARARE, Apr. 22 (NewsDay Live) – The board of Nedbank Zimbabwe Limited has appointed veteran banker Betty Murambadoro as managing director, Chairperson Innocent Dutiro said in a statement.
Murambadoro brings extensive senior leadership experience across corporate and investment banking, including client coverage in the mining sector. She is known for leading complex transactions, driving balance sheet growth, and building strategic relationships with government, corporates, and international partners.
Her boardroom experience includes roles at Standard Bank Eswatini, Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, and Stanbic Nominees, where she contributed to risk oversight, governance, and regulatory engagement. She has also received international training in sustainable finance, corporate governance, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.
Dutiro said Murambadoro’s strong grasp of the local market and established professional track record position her to provide steady leadership.
The board said it expects her to ensure continuity in executing the bank’s strategy while strengthening its commitment to shareholders, clients, and the wider Zimbabwean economy.
