Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Castle Lager Premier Soccer League club Ngezi Platinum Stars has appointed Philemon Mutyakureva as first team assistant coach.
Mutyakureva will work with head coach Takesure Chiragwi who was appointed the club’s substantive head coach in November 2022 after they finished in the top four. The club said in a statement:
Ngezi Platinum Stars is proud to announce the appointment of Philemon Mutyakureva as first-team assistant coach. We welcome Coach Philemon to Madamburo.
Chiragwi was given the job on an interim basis when the club parted ways with former Zimbabwe Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari in July before he was appointed substantive head coach in late November.
Meanwhile, veteran football goalkeepers coach Cosmas “Tsano” Zulu left Ngezi Platinum Stars in early February this year.
