Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. CHINHOYI magistrate Nyasha Marufu has fined a Chinese company, Jingxi Reshing (Pvt) Limited, US$200 for failure to comply with the provisions of National Social Security Authority

(Nssa).

The fine should be paid on or before May 30, 2025.

The magistrate also instructed Jingxi Reshing to pay Nssa the prejudiced amount of US$96 914,42.

It was the State’s case that in the period extending from May 2022 to May 2025 at Nssa Chinhoyi, Jingxi Reshing “unlawfully and intentionally” under declared the number of employees liable for registration with Nssa for payment of premiums and contributions.

Jingxi Reshing declared 61 employees instead of 273 thereby prejudicing Nssa of US$82 417,42 as contributions for the Pensions and Other Benefits scheme and US$14 497,29 as premiums for the Accident Prevention and Workers Compensation scheme.

Meng Qingyuan of Jingxi Reshing was represented by Ngonidzashe Charewa of Murisi and Associates while Rutendo Ngambizi prosecuted.
