Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Republic Police has released the names of people who died in a road accident which occurred along the Harare – Mukumbura road on Friday. A police statement seen by Pindula News says most of the victims were from Chitungwiza. Reads the statement issued by Police national spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi:
ZRP PRESS STATEMENT 6th NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE ON A FATAL ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT AT THE 36KM PEG ALONG HARARE-MUKUMBURA ROAD
The Zimbabwe Republic Police announces names of the six victims who died in a fatal road traffic accident involving a haulage truck which occurred at the 36 km peg along Harare-Mukumbura Road on 4th November 2022 at around 2000 hours.
The victims were positively identified by their next of kin as listed:-
♦ Otilla Mwanandimai, a female adult aged 35 years of Unit H, Seke, Chitungwiza.
♦ Tildanence Kanengoni, a female adult aged 24 years of Unit H, Seke, Chitungwiza.
♦ Irene Chirume, a female adult aged 63 years of Unit H, Seke, Chitungwiza.
♦ Phisolia Hatitongwe, a female infant aged seven (07) months of Unit H, Seke, Chitungwiza.
♦ Charity Chikuku, a female adult aged 39 years of Glen View 4, Harare.
♦Ruth Bandawe, a female adult aged 40 years of Glen View 4, Harare.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police urges motorists to be cautious on the roads and avoid speeding, especially during this rainy season when roads are slippery.
