President Mnangagwa Appoints New Central Committee And Politburo Members

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed ten personal nominees to the Central Committee, one from each province.

The appointments were made on the last day of the 7th ZANU PF National People’s Congress which was held at the HICC in Harare from the 26th to the 29th of October, 2022.

1). Manicaland – Wilson Khumbula

2). Mash Central – Angelina Tongogara

3). Bulawayo – Zenzo Nsimbi

4). Mash East – Michael Madanha

5). Mash West – Joseph Madziva Chirongoma

6). Midlands – Emmanuel Fundira

7). Mat North – Veronica Munkili

8). Harare – Mirriam Chikukwa

9). Masvingo – Paul Mangwana

10). Mat South – Abednico Ncube

i). National Political Commissar – Dr Mike Bimha

ii). Secretary for Administration – Obert Mpofu

iii). Secretary for Finance – Patrick Chinamasa

iv). Secretary for Security – Lovemore Matuke

a). Head of Women’s League – Mabel Chinomona

b). War Veterans League – Douglas Mahiya

The president said the Youth League Head shall be announced after full consultations. He added:

Section 35.3 says we have 20 members from the women, youth and war vets league coming from the national.
