The Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Saturday, 07 March, announced new gate charges for the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season following an Emergency Committee meeting on 5 March 2026.
According to Kudzai Bare, the PSL Communications and Media Liaison Officer, fans will now pay US$5 for general admission (Rest of Ground), US$15 for VIP and Grandstand seating, and US$25 for VVIP areas. Said Bare:
“This increase has been necessitated by the rising cost of matchday-related services, statutory levies and tax obligations that clubs are required to meet in the staging of PSL matches.
“The PSL remains committed to striking a balance between ensuring that clubs are able to meet the operational costs associated with hosting matches while maintaining reasonable access for fans, who remain a vital part of the game.”
Bare also revealed that the match between Herentals and Chicken Inn, scheduled for Saturday, 7 March 2026, will be played behind closed doors, as Herentals continues to serve a disciplinary sanction issued by the PSL Disciplinary Committee in 2025.
