Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. South African Premiership club Sekhukhune United have released Zimbabwean international Talent Chawapiwa with immediate effect.
The former Baroka FC winger arrived at Sekhukhune from Amazulu in July 2021 on a two-year deal but has been shown the exit door after just six months.
The 29-year-old right-winger managed only eight appearances for Sekhukhune this season.
Kickoff.com reported a source as saying that both parties agreed to keep the new developments a secret for now as they are still negotiating for a settlement. Said the source:
At this stage, it’s not yet finalised, but he is definitely being released, both parties are busy working on it, he hasn’t been to training.
