Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Three people died while two others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in, a Nissan X-trail, veered off the road and rolled several times along Mutare Road.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the accident occurred around 4 AM on Saturday near the Mabvuku turn–off.
The driver and two passengers died on spot and were taken to Parirenyatwa hospital, as well as the injured. ZRP said:
The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on 04/06/22 at around 0400 hours along Mutare Road near Mabvuku turn–off where three people died while two others were injured.
A Nissan X- trail vehicle with five people on board veered off the road, rolled several times and landed on its wheels.
The driver and two passengers died on the spot and their bodies were taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for post-mortem while the two injured passengers are admitted at the same hospital.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police said they will provide more details pertaining to the accident “in due course”.
