Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. ZANU PF Mashonaland Central youth chairperson Lens Farando also known as Ruwizhi Friday succumbed to Covid-19, the ruling party has confirmed.
The development was confirmed by the party’s acting youth league national secretary, Tendai Chirau, who tweeted saying:
Cdes, I have just received shocking news of the death of Cde Ruwizhi our Zanu PF Youth League provincial chairman for Mashonaland Central. I am saddened!

It is reported that Ruwizhu died at his mother’s house in Bindura.
Zimbabwe is experiencing a resurgence of the coronavirus which started towards the end of 2020 third quarter.
As of Friday 15 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 26 109 officially confirmed cases, 15 414 recoveries and 666 deaths.
