Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has reviewed the prices of diesel and petrol with effect from 30 August 2022.
In a notice seen by Pindula News, ZERA said Diesel prices in ZW$ had been raised from $851.14 while petrol was raised from $769.35 both announced on 17 August 2022.
The price of diesel has remained at US$1.74 per litre while the price of petrol was increased to US$1.58 up from US$1.57. Reads the latest review:
Please be advised of the fuel prices for diesel and blend effective 30 August 2022. The prices are as follows:
ZERA advised members of the public and operators that the blending ratio remains at E20.
The authority also said operators may sell petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.
Stakeholders were advised that the petroleum price releases by ZERA can be verified on the official ZERA website, Facebook or Twitter handle.
