Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has advertised the post of a Human Resources Assistant. In a notice seen by Pindula News, ZERA said applications will be received until the 27th of July 2022. Reads the notice:
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is a statutory body and is mandated to regulate the Zimbabwean energy market cost effectively, through incentive regulation and in a fair and transparent manner to achieve sustainable energy. ZERA seeks the services of a highly competent and results-oriented individual to actively contribute in the execution of its mandate in the following role;
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Officer, the Key Job Functions of this position will be;
1. Recruiting and Selecting,
2. Administering and Coordinating employee onboarding,
3. Coordinating HR functions/meetings,
4. Drafting and preparing HR reports and policies,
5. Coordinating learning and development activities of the authority.
6. Administrating SAP HCM
7. Remunerating and Rewarding Management
8. Performance Management
9. Risk Management
10. Management of Employee Termination Process
• Degree in Behavioural Sciences or Human Resources Management.
• 1 Year relevant experience
• Knowledge of the Energy Industry is an added advantage
• Knowledge of the Labour Act and related legislation
• Personal drive and effectiveness as well as people management skills
• Understanding of business processes and stakeholder priorities and requirements
• Professional and ethical behaviour
• Analytical and intuitive/creative thinking
• Communication, persuasion and interpersonal skills
