Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Yesterday 14 March 2021, there were zero COVID-19 vaccinations carried out in Zimbabwe in 24 hours. This was contained in a report by the Ministry of Health that stated that they did not receive reports of vaccinations by 4 PM yesterday. The Ministry however stated that vaccinations are ongoing in all provinces in the update that stated that:
Vaccinations of frontline workers continues in static site in all provinces to reach the targets. As at 1600hrs today(14 March 2021) no reports had been received bringing cumulative vaccinated to 35359.
A mini-survey contacted by Zimbabwe Christian Alliance showed that 75% of those that were interviewed said they were not going to take the COVID-19 vaccine while 14% said they were not sure.
The update also stated that COVID-19 hospitalizations have significantly gone down. to 94 down from 139 the previous day. The were no severe COVID-19 cases according to the report which stated that:
As of 13 March 2021, @1500 hrs, there were 94 hospitalised cases, Assymptomatic 81, mild to moderate 13, severe 0 and 0 cases in Intensive care units.
