ZESA Deploys Officers To Replace Post Paid Meters With Prepaid Meters

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA), has announced that it will be replacing postpaid metres with prepaid meters in some parts of Harare.

In a statement seen by Pindula News, ZETDC said the affected areas are:

Kuwadzana, Dzivarasekwa, Crowborough, Mufakose, Snake Park and the surrounding areas. Reads the statement:

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region, Kuwadzana Depot, that there will be an exercise of retrofitting all postpaid meters with prepaid meters as of the 7th of January 2023. It is against this background that ZETDC is appealing to clients to allow our staff access to your premises and meter boxes during the exercise.

Areas Covered:

Kuwadzana, Dzivarasekwa, Crowborough, Mufakose, Snake Park and the surrounding areas.

Identification of Staff Our teams will be in their ZETDC-branded work suits and in possession of ZETDC official ID cards.
