ZETDC Announce Planned Power Supply Interruption

Africa-PressZimbabwe. The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has announced a planned power supply interruption that is meant to pave way for “critical maintenance works.” Pindula News present a statement by the ZESA subsidiary.

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there will be power supply interruption on Wednesday 23 June 2021 from 0600 to 1800 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.

During this period, electricity will not be available in the following areas: Greendale: Rhodesville Avenue, Kennedy Drive, Clifton road, Cunningham road, Portal road, Alexander road, Ferris avenue, Wingate Road, Chaplin Road, Drummond Road, Greendale Avenue, Queen Elizabeth road, Rossal road, Kipling Road, Cecil Road, parts of Coronation Avenue, Dawn hill road, and parts of Montgomery road.

Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice. The inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.

This comes when most parts of the country have in the recent past been experiencing regular power cuts with the local power utility saying the load-shedding was triggered by a fault at the Hwange Power production plant.
