ZETDC Power Interruption Alert: Friday 17 September 2021

Africa-PressZimbabwe. ZESA Holdings’ electricity transmission unit, ZETDC, has advised its customers in the Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Friday 17 September 2021 as it will be carrying out critical maintenance works.

I a notice issued this Thursday, ZETDC said electricity will be unavailable between 6 AM and 6 PM in the listed areas but customers have been advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice. ZETDC said:

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Friday 17 September 2021 from 0600 hours to 1800 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.

During this period, electricity will not be available in the following areas: Mount Hampden: Fairview, Marconi farm, Scheneider farm, Windmill, Seedco, AFDIS, Homefield centre, Eastern Forest, Ministry of transport, Mounthampden shops, Running dog, Star Farm, Madzorere Farm, Gwebi College, Solar Farm, Tenda Quarry, Garfunkels and the surrounding areas.

Southlea Park, Crest, Bradfield, Fidelity Southview and Ushewekunze.

Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.
