Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. The Embassy of Zimbabwe in South Africa has distanced itself from an individual falsely claiming to represent the diplomatic mission.
In a video circulating on social media, a man identifying himself as Godfrey Majoni Chipare purports to be the official spokesperson for the Zimbabwean Embassy.
However, the embassy has denied any association with the individual. Read the statement released on Friday:
The Embassy of Zimbabwe in South Africa wishes to categorically disassociate itself from this person and to state that no such individual works at the Embassy, neither at our two Consulates in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
