Africa-Press-Zimbabwe Zimbabwean police have disrupted and stopped a rally in Gokwe, organised by the newly formed opposition party,Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC). Leader Nelson Chamisa was scheduled to address supporters as part of his by-election campaign. Zimbabweans go to the polls next month to vote for vacant positions at local government and in Parliament. Earlier in the day, the party’s lawyers filed an urgent court application to allow the rally to go ahead.
