It has been mostly sunny and hot over the southern part of the country (Matabeleland South, Masvingo and southern part of Midlands as well as southern districts of Manicaland) today, however, winds started strengthening towards evening.
To the north, Matabeleland North, Bulawayo Metropolitan, northern areas of Midlands, Harare Metropolitan, and northern parts of Manicaland were mostly cloudy.
The combination of these clouds and heat from the south led to significant rainfall in areas along the main watershed yesterday, namely Kadoma (92mm), Kwekwe (43mm), Chibero (37mm), Wedza (32mm), Mhondoro (30mm) and Rusape (29mm).
Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Masvingo and Manicaland Province should be mostly clear, windy and mild at first, becoming warm by afternoon with scattered clouds drifting in from the southeast. Brief cloudy periods and an odd shower remain probable in places.
Isolated thunderstorms are anticipated in Matabeleland North, Midlands, Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland Provinces, with mostly cloudy and warm afternoon conditions, becoming mild towards evening.
Brief cloudy periods and isolated showers of rain are anticipated in provinces such as Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Masvingo and Manicaland. It should be windy and mild for much of the day.
Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the northern parts of Matabeleland North, northern districts of Midlands (Kwekwe to Gokwe), Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland Provinces, as mostly cloudy and warm afternoon conditions persist. Mild both morning and evening.
