Zimbos must continue fight to remove Zanu PF: Busha

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. FREEZIM Congress party leader Joseph Makamba Busha has said the solution to Zimbabwe’s economic woes lies in a total change of government leadership.

In a statement released by his party, the 2018 and 2023 presidential aspirant said Zimbabweans should avoid co-option into the Zanu PF party.

“The levels of co-option, collusion and corruption are so deeply entrenched in the system of the country,” he said.

Busha expressed frustration with the current state of affairs, citing widespread corruption and mismanagement as major obstacles to economic progress.

The Zimbabwean economy has been grappling with numerous challenges, including high inflation, unemployment and a decline in industrial production.

Busha attributed these problems to poor governance and corruption, emphasising that a change in leadership is necessary to address these issues.

However, Busha also offered a glimmer of hope, pointing to the 2028 elections as an opportunity for citizens to democratically remove Zanu PF from government.

“The time is now. We are organising and hoping to have the numbers to remove Zanu PF in 2028,” Busha said, urging Zimbabweans to seize the chance to bring about meaningful change and usher in a new era of leadership that prioritises the welfare of its citizens.

The FreeZim Congress party’s call for change resonates with many Zimbabweans and opposition activists who are eager for economic reform and good governance.

As the country hurtles towards the next electoral cycle, Busha’s statement serves as a rallying cry for those seeking a brighter future for Zimbabwe.

The party’s message is likely to appeal to young people, workers and entrepreneurs who are looking for a government that can deliver on its promises.

Busha is the leader of the FreeZim Congress, a party that advocates for social justice, economic empowerment and good governance.

He has been a vocal critic of corruption and poor governance in Zimbabwe, and has called for reforms to address the country’s economic challenges.
