Zimbabwe’s inflation rate for April has jumped to 756%, New Ziana reports. This was published by Zimbabwe Statistical Agency (ZimStats) that also said month on month inflation was on 17.64%.
A statement by ZimStats about inflation reads:
The year on year inflation rate (annual percentage change) for the month of April 2020 as measured by the all items CPI (Consumer Price Index) stood at 765.57 percent
In March 2020, Inflation stood at 676.39% according to Zimstats.
