Africa-Press – Angola. Following the activities carried out by the national structure, under the control of the CNE, within the scope of the process of organizing the General Elections of 24 August, the Luanda Provincial Electoral Commission (CPL) opens, from today to Wednesday, at the Universidade of Luanda, the training of provincial trainers for Electoral Civic Education Agents.
The trainees will be given knowledge about the CNE, the Competencies and the Local Bodies, limited to the first panel, designated “Bodies of the Electoral Administration”. They will also get in touch with matters related to the “Civic and Electoral Education Campaign”, theme of the second panel, which will work on the basis of Definition, Objectives and Strategies.
Participants will also appreciate the constitution and functioning of polling stations in the country and abroad, their composition and opening hours, an approach provided for in the panel on “Constitution and Operation of Polling Stations”. During the training, the Luanda Provincial Electoral Commission (CPL) prepared content related to the profile of “Electoral Civic Education Agents”, the “Campaign Phases” and on “Electoral Inspection and Observation”.
