Africa-Press – Angola. First secretary of the MPLA, Archer Mangueira, in the door-to-door campaign in the municipality of Tômbwa, in the “vote hunt” for the 24 August elections.
The MPLA in Tômbwa municipality, Namibe province, this Tuesday reinforced its “vote hunt” actions, with a focus on contacting voters in the “Gika” neighborhood.
In a door-to-door campaign, which was attended by the first provincial secretary, Archer Mangueira, who stressed his party’s desire to mobilize as many voters as possible to vote for the candidacy.
For the politician, the MPLA militants will not only mobilize the electorate, but also explain the Government’s program, the reasons for the failures and what is intended to be done to improve people’s lives.
“We are still in the middle of our work, we need to explain to people the MPLA’s objectives for the next term, but for that it is important to explain what we did, recognizing the mistakes, failures and non-compliance”, he said.
The municipality of Tômbwa is 93 kilometers south of Namibe province and the MPLA has more than 50,000 registered members there.
