The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango appealed, in the municipality of Nancova, to all militants, friends and party sympathizers to join the polling stations en masse and put their trust in leader João Lourenço so that he can continue to work for the benefit of the well-being of Angolans in the next five years.
José Martins spoke these words on Tuesday during the mass political act, as part of the pre-electoral campaign, which the MPLA in Cuando Cubango is carrying out in all municipalities in the province.
According to the politician, the mobilization of all MPLA militants, friends and sympathizers should be reinforced so that on August 24th they can head to the polls without any hesitation and vote for the party leader to conclude the established governance priority lines. which essentially aim to improve the quality of life of all Angolans.
He said that it is the intention of the MPLA to work hard for the development of the country, through the implementation of various programs that aim to benefit all Angolans, regardless of party affiliation.
José Martins said that, by voting for the MPLA and its candidate, people will see the realization of several projects that do not exist in Cuando Cubango, with greater emphasis on the lack of social infrastructure, the extension of the Cuito Cuanavale University in the municipalities and the inclusion of other courses.
He added that the province still needs the implementation of postgraduate and master’s courses, as the region has a high number of young graduates who are unable to continue their academic training.
