The Government of Angola is resolutely committed to deepening relations with the United States of America, with the conviction that both countries have a central role in building a future of prosperity, understanding and harmony between all the peoples of the planet, wrote the President of the Republic, in a congratulatory message addressed to his US counterpart, Joe Biden.
In the letter, on the occasion of another anniversary, marked yesterday (4th of July), of the Independence Day of the USA, João Lourenço said that he believes that the approach at the highest level of aspects related to bilateral relations will help to deepen and solidify the bases on which the entire architecture of cooperation between the two countries will be based. The President of the Republic considered the date to be a significant date for the history of the United States of America, so he takes the “occasion to salute the creative dynamism of its people, which gives their country an outstanding place in the concert of Nations, in which its inclusion in the various levels and segments of American society.
“On behalf of the Angolan Executive and on my own behalf, I have the honor to congratulate you, the People and the Government of the United States of America, on the celebration of yet another anniversary of the Independence Day of your country”, reiterates João Lourenço, in message sent to Joe Biden before wishing the US President “best wishes for personal well-being, good health and prosperity for the people of the United States of America”.
