Africa-Press – Angola. The Sao Tome president, Carlos Vila Nova, today presented “deep feelings of regret” to the family of former Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos, who died Friday in Barcelona, Spain.
“It was with deep dismay and sincere regret that I learned of the death of the former President of the Republic of Angola, engineer José Eduardo dos Santos (…) and on my own, my sincere condolences, conveying my deep feelings of regret”, says Carlos Vila Nova in a message published on Facebook.
José Eduardo dos Santos died at the age of 79 in a clinic in Barcelona, Spain, after weeks of hospitalization.
