Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, greeted the people and the French Government today for the celebration of the National Festival of that European country, according to a press release.
In a message sent to President Emmanuel Macron, the Head of State highlights “the central position that France has occupied throughout the history of building the current world system, in which democracy and the freedom of peoples are defended”.
This position – says President João Lourenço – “makes the French Republic an unavoidable actor at the heart of the main themes of global impact”.
In the letter sent to Macron on the 14th of July, the President of the Republic also underlines the high level of relations that characterize the two countries and reiterates the firm will to strengthen exchanges between the key sectors of the economies of the two countries, in order to contribute for an increasingly fruitful cooperation “with tangible and reciprocal benefits for both peoples”.
