The president of UNITA, Adalberto da Costa Júnior, said this Sunday, in the province of Huíla, that, if he wins the General Elections on 24 August, he will follow, within the scope of the institutionalization of municipalities, the constitution of local power, by have its importance with regard to proximity governance.
On the occasion, the UNITA candidate advised the militants not to react to any type of provocation, from anyone, “because the General Elections must be faced with serenity, responsibility and commitment by all citizens”.
For Adalberto, the elections are a true celebration of democracy, carried out through the healthy coexistence between the competing parties, where the choice of the winning party prevails, which now has the right to form a government.
Thus, he made it known that, for a victory in the elections, it is necessary that all citizens, with up-to-date registration, actually exercise their civic rights on August 24th. “All those aged 18, and registered up to date, must go to polling stations to exercise civic duty”, appealed the UNITA candidate.
The president of UNITA, Adalberto da Costa Júnior, announced, during the mass act, the intention to build medical centers in each community with 1000 inhabitants, to ensure first aid to all people who are faced with any illness.
He said that proximity hospitals are important for saving the lives of children, adults and the elderly, who, given their state of emergency, “need, with some speed, to be assisted and medicated”. “Sometimes, human lives are lost due to the distance between communities and reference units, concluded the UNITA leader.
Confidence In A Good Result In Cabinda
UNITA is confident in a good result in the province of Cabinda in the elections, to surpass those achieved in 2017, in which it obtained only one seat in Parliament, according to the militant Lourenço Lumingo.
In this sense, he added, during the mass act, held within the scope of the launch of the electoral campaign, that trust results from the empathy that the party has in the population. Lourenço Lumingo said that the militants are oriented to intensify mobilization and awareness-raising actions to convince voters to vote for UNITA.
“UNITA is committed to winning the elections and granting autonomy to the province of Cabinda”, he said.
