Exercises in technical and tactical aspects dominate today the training sessions of the National Football Team for amputees at Cidadela Stadium, in Luanda, following the preparation for the dispute of the 16th edition of the World Cup, from 30 September to 9 October, in the city of Istanbul.
As has become routine, training begins with a religious prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. After these scenarios, the players carry out the demanding warm-up exercises to maintain their individual and collective physical condition.
In the second phase of preparation, the technical staff, led by coach Cheto Sacumula, divides the athletes into four groups to work on technical aspects and individual and collective tactical movements in a part of the field of play.
Yesterday, in the two training sessions held at Cidadela (morning and afternoon), after the usual warm-up exercises, the group started with the work to coordinate individual and collective actions (game phases).
The preparation was marked by many absences, as some athletes have health problems. These are Hilário Cufula, Gabriel Passabem, Lilito Augusto, Marcelino Alfredo and José Maria who are delivered to the National Center for Sports Medicine (CENAMED).
