Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Humanist Party of Angola (PHA), Florbela Malaquias, promised, at the mass act held this Monday in Lubango, that the teaching of initiation to the 9th grade will be free, if the party wins the general elections of August 24th.
“Bela” Malaquias said that, with this, it will be possible to contemplate a considerable number of school-age children. “There are still many children without access to school because parents or guardians do not have the resources to support the expenses related to uniforms, school supplies, among other charges related to basic education”, lamented the party leader, stating that only the PHA project can reverse the current picture.
Florbela Malaquias, who previously traveled by car through several arteries of Lubango, as part of the march promoted by PHA militants and sympathizers, announced that she will also pay special attention to the country’s hospitals, as “there are still many who are faced with the lack of expendable material”.
It also intends to promote guided self-construction with the free distribution of land in various locations. “We have a huge country, a fact that should discourage the sale of certain spaces at exorbitant prices”, he defended.
Another promise made by the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic by the PHA in the August 24 elections has to do with assistance and special attention to “zungueiras” women to better develop businesses for the proper support of families.
