The candidate for President of the Republic of Angola of P-NJANGO, Eduardo Jonatão Samuel “Dinho”, announced in the city of Sumbe, province of Cuanza-Sul, that in case of victory in the general elections, his party elected agriculture, as the key sector of its governance to fight hunger and poverty in Angola.
The candidate for President of the Republic of Angola of the Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO), Eduardo Jonatão Samuel “Dinho”, announced yesterday in the city of Sumbe, province of Cuanza-Sul, that in case of victory in the elections General Assembly, on 24 August this year, his party elected agriculture as the key sector of its governance to fight hunger and poverty in Angola.
The head of the list for P-NJANGO was speaking during his stay in the province of Cuanza-Sul, as part of the electoral campaign for the elections of 24 August, where he inaugurated his party’s headquarters in the city of Sumbe. A car march followed, culminating in a mass act.
During his speech, the politician considered that hunger continues to be a destabilizing factor in the communities, and in order to reverse the situation, there must be a commitment to a policy that promotes and stimulates agriculture. “Communities are struggling with hunger, which is also responsible for the emergence of various pathologies, so in the event of a victory, we will focus on promoting agriculture, especially family farming, to end hunger and poverty in communities,” he said.
Eduardo Jonatão Samuel “Dinho” appealed to his party’s militants, friends and sympathizers to have confidence in the P-NJANGO party, which in his view “has brought change and fulfilled the youth’s dream of having a job, ending hunger and poverty as well as relaunch the industry sector as a factor of development”.
The P-NJANGO Leader recalled that “Angola is rich, it has extensions of arable land, which they can produce to guarantee food security, and create surpluses for export”.
He added that another factor of opportunity is related to the need to install industries to transform what is produced, creating goods, services and jobs.
The president of P-NJANGO recognized the potential of the province of Cuanza-Sul, having underlined that with concerted policies, the province of Cuanza-Sul has great potential to be a granary capable of producing all the food to ensure the basic food basket.
