Africa-Press – Angola. The Education Sector, in Lunda-Sul province, has more than 600,000 school textbooks, for free distribution to primary school students.
According to the provincial director of Education, Canhinguiquine Candondolo, textbooks are sufficient for primary school students enrolled in the academic year about to begin. He appealed to parents and guardians to denounce citizens who try to sell the books.
He made it known that entrance exams are taking place at the Teacher Training School, the Polytechnic Medium Institute and the Technical School of Nursing.
The Education Sector, he added, has 1,700 classrooms for the 2022/23 academic year, to accommodate 350,000 students enrolled from basic to high school.
