Africa-Press – Angola. The State recovered money and assets corresponding to around 5.6 billion US dollars, within the scope of the fight against corruption and impunity.
The data were presented this Saturday, in Luanda, by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, who was speaking at the opening of the 2022-2023 Parliamentary Year.
“In the period from 2019 to September 2022, assets and values worth around US$15 billion were seized, of which US$6.8 billion were seized in Angola and the remainder outside the country”, revealed the Head of State.
